Starting EquipmentWhen I started out, I had several computers. I had three computers that were standard IBMs, two of them are pictured here: ![]() This next computer had 5 hard drives in it, and they ran pretty hot with no fan blowing air directly over them. The side fan on this case burned out, so it did not run - this is why I left the side open on it for a little bit of air cooling. ![]() This computer has had many operating systems on it over the years, now it runs Debian: ![]() And I had some other equipment and spare parts that I bought: ![]() This is some angle iron made of alumumn that I bought to cut out the attachements for the fans, and harddrives, etc to connect to each shelf. ![]() This is the plexiglass that I bought to go on the outside of the rack. ![]() This plexiglass with the shipping wrapper still on it, has traced outlines of the wood shelf dimensions: ![]() | AD
